Tickets to Radio 1’s Big Weekend have sold out in under an hour.
At 9.10am, 50,000 tickets were released and by 10am organisers confirmed they’d all gone.
Katy Perry, Little Mix, Stormzy and Kings of Leon will headline the festival in Hull on 27 and 28 May, with more acts still to be announced.
The tickets were free and limited to two per person, with the majority reserved for people living in and around the city.

Radio 1 will be running competitions to win remaining tickets, with details released on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show on Tuesday 18 April.
Those who didn’t get tickets will be able to listen and watch the event on BBC Radio 1, the Radio 1 website and on BBC iPlayer.
Radio 1 bosses advise you not to risk buying tickets via social media or resale sites.
“Those offering tickets for sale or as prizes are breaking the terms and conditions they agreed to during the booking process and we reserve the right to cancel them,” they say.
