Fans are speculating why Usher didn’t perform at One Love Manchester on Sunday, despite appearing on the event’s line-up.
There were a few surprises at the benefit concert, like an unexpected tribute from Liam Gallagher and a moving performance of Somewhere Over the Rainbow from Ariana Grande.
But there was no sign of the Usher.
Still, his presence was felt on social media – uploading a video message to Manchester on social media.
“My heart is with you Manchester. I’m so sorry for all of your loss and the pain that you’ve gone through,” he said.
He also encouraged his fans to tune into the live stream of the event – both sharing various links to where they could watch.
At no point did he mention he would no longer be able to make it.
The 38-year-old singer had been announced on the bill alongside names such as Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and The Black Eye Peas.
The three-hour event went off without a hitch and without a performance from Usher.
The singer is yet to release an official statement and this hasn’t gone unnoticed by fans, who have since taken to Twitter to speculate.
Newsbeat has contacted Usher’s representative but we are yet to receive a response.
